Eventually my sister's alarm did shut its self off... But once you stop and shut the car off...
It starts up again.
When in doubt with what to do with a relentless car alarm (or a retarded car alarm activator) try holding down the unlock button on the keyring remote.

After dinner we pranced are way over to Southcenter to find some CD's... Oh and other things :)

5pm yesterday I was feeling rather fugly with myself. Dna realizing my desperate need to obtain a great abundance of peace and tranquility, but as that usually isn’t available around her household, she settled for dragging my Blither-Butt out.

First hole in the wall bar was- Umm, We’ll say empty and eccentric. The owner was sitting there (alone) smoking at a table, which doesn’t sound that strange except that in Washington smoking in public buildings is a “No No”. Mr YuppiedUpCowBoy announced dance lessons were over to the bar full of imaginary patrons. Dna and I guzzled down our glass of water- leaving the wine behind – reality did not need to feel altered anymore.
We needed to get the F’outta the Twilight Zone.

We headed off to an old haunt, where Dna could kick my ass in a game of pool and I could pick a part a plate of onion rings.
She won $50 on pull tabs and then spent the $50.
The highlight of this little pool hall had to be witnessing actual rednecks- neckin’it.
I asked one of the not-so-local local’s-aka: Redneck's, for a light of my smoke to which he replied, “Don’t light your hair on fire”, and then made a sound that resembled a car bomb.
Umm- Yeah Ok Lil’Fella. I’ll try and be careful.
Me standing there trying not to make eye contact with Mr IQ he points and mumbles, “That’s my Jeep”.
Oh Boy
Dna pipes up, “That’s my Acura next to it”.
I’m not sure if she had failed to realize BoyWonders brilliance before this.
Mr IQ lashes back obviously offended for some unknown reason, “My Jeep could drive over top of your Acura”.
Umm Ok. Dna is your smoke gone?
Dna laughed and cocked an eyebrow, “Really because my Suburban could squish your Jeep”.

One more game of pool?
Suuuuure!

Dna over heard Redneck #2 scolding a young girl because she kept hitting the wrong ball in the wrong hole. Pfft.. Whatever! At one point he threatened to whack her in the head with his pool stick.
*Sigh*
One thing you don’t do around Dna is try and use a pool stick as a weapon. She’ll take you down. She chuckled and said, “If that stick touches her, my stick is going up your butt”.

That’s when I sunk the 8 ball.

Tomorrow I’ll post the 7-11 story.

Where Was I... The Lake?

So Where was I with my weekend stories? Sunday?
I think so.. Sunday.

Sunday we were going to go hiking and trail bopping around … Uhh- Well I’ll be. Can’t remember, my vote was for Snoqualmie something or other. Dna’s was Mt Rainer. Mr W (Dna’s Husband) was anything within an hours drive. Hiking and Trail bopping were voted out when Ms Aimee called with news that there was something going on at Lake Sammamish. I heard “Beer Garden” – And my vote was swung.

The expedition to the lake was becoming a bit dry with the children insisting on the same song over and over and over again (The Killers – Somebody Told Me).

Sooooo.. I started in with my normal mischief.
*Grin*

This is DnaDbl’s Hair with my water bottle lid carefully balanced.
She has no clue and continued to have no clue for a mighty long time. Aimee and I giggled like immature little girls waiting for the inevitable fall.Dna would occasionally turn around exacerbated with our snickers.

Either Mr W caught on to my immature prank

~Poo Pooh Lake~

The lake was a bit different than I recall from my childhood. There were big boats – Lots of them and they were loud. I quickly scoped out a lazy day spot far from the water.
The rest of the day was casual. Listening to music, rolling around in the damp Washington grass playing with the beach balls, and – OF Course; Ms Blither relaxing with a cool glass of wine.

Ms Madi-Monkey (Dna’s 2yr old) was happy to dance around to the music just about anywhere.

Ms Madi gets her love of groovy dancey things from her Mommy :)

Ms Elle-Monkey (Dna’s 5yr Old) & Noah (Aimee's 5yr Old) were much happier making friends.

Aimee and Mr W … Umm They only get pull the wagon… YeeHaw!

Ugh! Why can I not have a good picture taken of me in Washington?
Who stole my eyebrows? Did I just now realize the Vegas sun sizzled them off?
Am I balding? Maybe Lily will desire me more.
I can hear you snorting Snavy- Quit that!

UPDATE~> Dna has informed me I am infact not bald, but my hair has been lighted by the sun to beyond blonde and is now transparent. I am scheduled to see my hair girl Thursday. Hello Reds and Browns!

One Place Weekend

Girl's weekend had a few glitches, but we managed just fine with our super fabulous front desk liaison- Kara. Our room would have been phenomenal (Hello! -"would have been") if it would had been the one we reserved- upon arriving to our room we discovered one large king size bed.

Apparently when you reserve a room the hotel doesn't guarantee the beds, but the room. WHATEVER! Our Champagne and Wine wasn't waiting for us as previously requested and for some dumbass reason they gave us a smoking room when we ask for non-smoking.
No worries- this wasn't going to ruin our desires to have a wonderful night out.
Kara, the fabulous front desk liaison, had them comp our Champagne, Wine, and toss in a scrumptious plate of strawberries.
So.. On to dinner! Dinner... Mmmm Yummy! I've never had the pleasure of the Cheesecake Factory before, but Ms Aimee was insistent upon dinner there. Since it was a hop, skip, and jump away from our hotel we could order multiple bottles of wine with no cat fights over who had to maneuver the motor vehicle back to home base. Brilliant Ms Aimee- Brilliant!!!
After dinner I walked outside with Ms DnaDbl who lit up a cigarette and announced to me not to stand to close to the street or I might be picked up for prostitution.
*blink blink*

Standing a safe distance from the curb making sure my cleavage wasn't exposed and I wasn't giving off any whore signals a man walked up and asked if we could spare a smoke, but he didn't want to leave us "hurtin". "Uhh.. Sure, Buddy". Ms DnaDbl being the nursie thing she is had to give him the speech about smoking and the harm that comes from it, all the while puffing on her own camel light. Mr Hurtin4LungCancer told her he actually had a nicotine patch in his wallet. Dna's response was priceless... "You might as well fucking eat it- Seems to be doing you a lot of good in there"! I don't think I could recreate my facial expression even if I really wanted too.

Let See.. Whatelse? Oh there is so much if I was to type the whole night out this would be one big post.
I'll just move on to what I captured with my camera phone pictures. You can fill in the blanks with your imagination.

Night life at McCarran Airport was a grand ole time!  Screw the 7am flights!
Ms Blither – Go for the late night flight.
McCarran is a party all to itself.
Relaxed drinking: “Would you like your cocktail in a plastic cup to carry about the airport terminals?”
Smoking: Complete with Smoking lounge right next to the slots (of course)- Don’t forget your alcoholic beverage.

Currently I’m staring at a man trying to figure out how to work his air… I would like to offer up a “Righty Tightly – Lefty Loosy”.  Kinda like do you really want it or not scenario…DO YOU WANT IT GUY?!?!   Is it really that hard to get?   Fuck.. do I have to get up and do it for this guy?   Can someone turn off his light he’s a moron.  Why is he playing with his air that long?  It can’t be that hard to figure out.  Is he just trying to get the perfect air adjustment?  FREAK!  I’m about to find the Air Marshal!

Aquatic Meditation

Ahhhh Breathe in the fresh DSL Air!
Mmm Good!  Sooooo Goood!

I only have a moment to start and stop this post.
Why?
Au Naturel Aquatic Meditation beckons.
I was once embarrassed and afraid to cannon ball my bare Blither-Butt into the pool, but now with the realization life is only so long… Oh and the neighbors routines all figured out- my freedom is my own!
Mr Blither pointed out with the children out of school in a day or two, my new found love for “Skinny Dipping for One” would have to come to and end, “I might want to live it up and get in a few extra breast strokes”.  I doubt my early morning “Au Naturel Aquatic Meditations” will be hindered at all by either child considering as they usually can’t crack an eyeball until around 2pm.

Now.. To teach DnaDbl the ways of the “Au Natruel Aquatic Meditation”.
She will be flying in June 28th.  I have many Many MANY Vegas ways to teach my little Seattlite. My life is truly blessed.

Now normally I’m opposed to aliens and abductions, but when both are offered up with the promises of fruity alcoholic beverages, dancing, and good music- how could I resist?
There really should have been some sort of abduction contract, which clearly stated the conditions in which Blither would be going down, and not returning… Of course I wouldn’t have signed.  And then again Alien abduction is – Abduction.

I’m not sure what I would have done if I hadn’t had Lieutenant Lily and Sergeant Snavy to argue my case with the Egotistical Alien Abductors… I may have never made it back to Venus – I mean Vegas and all the wonderful Bloggers in the Blogosphere.
